General Pricing and Charges
Please note that pricing on our website does not include sales tax (if applicable). For custom designed pieces, general prices can be discussed when it is decided what you want. An agreement on what your design will look like is based on one or all of the following: drawings, CAD models, wax models, photographs. When you’ve commited to a design, know what material and/or gems are involved; a quote will be given and you will be asked to commit to 50% of that quote to start the project.
Most of the time, you will be given an opportunity to see your design carved in jewelers wax and request minor changes before it is cast in metal. If this design evolves in scope, details, or work required beyond the original quote, we would need to re-quote these changes at that point. If you want to make any changes to specifications, materials or details, these would be subject to any appropriate up-charge depending on the materials and labor involved.

Payment Requirements
We require a 50% deposit of the full amount for each purchase, including sales tax (if applicable). The balance of the order and associated shipping costs are due upon completion of the order and must be received by us before the order is shipped.
Payments can be made by Money Order, Cash, personal or cashiers check, Visa, Mastercard via Paypal.
The receipt of your deposit or payment for any product or project will indicate that you have read and understood our General Terms & Conditions and agree with them. Please feel free to ask us any questions that you might have.

Shipping Charges
Shipping is charged separatedly and based on your preference. We do recommend insured methods of shipping.

Cancelling or Changing Your Order

To place an order at 50% deposit is required with the balance due upon completion and before shipping. Because project design engineering or actual production begins shortly after your order is placed, please be sure of your choices before placing your order. If you wish for any reason to change or cancel your order, you must notify us within 7 days of the original order date (approval of design and receipt of deposit). If we are given notice of a cancellation within 7 days of the original order date, a refund will be issued in the same tender as your deposit payment. However, if your order has been started or if materials have been purchased specifically for the project, those expenses would be deducted from the deposit payment.

Product Liability
Jon Vanderbeek or Laura Jewelry Design assumes no responsibility once the products have left our studios. We cannot be held responsible for any liability, damage or wear of our products. We do not guarantee complete satisfaction but promise we will do all that we can to make sure that you are satisfied.
